Privacy policy

• No cookies, no tracking, no analytics, no advertising and no social media plugins.
• Fonts, scripts and images are delivered from this website itself. Visiting the site does not trigger requests to servers of other companies.
• Personal data is only processed in two cases: in the server log files when you visit the site, and when you write to us through the contact form or by email.

This website is hosted by INWX GmbH & Co. KG, Prinzessinnenstr. 30, 10969 Berlin, Germany, on servers in Germany. The provider processes data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

When you visit the site, the web server automatically records your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested file, the HTTP status code and the amount of data transferred, the referrer URL (the page you came from, if your browser sends it) and browser and operating system information (user agent). This data is not combined with other data sources.

Purpose: delivering the website, ensuring its stability and security and detecting misuse. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in the secure and reliable operation of this website. Log files are kept only for a short period, according to the hosting provider's retention settings, and are then deleted or anonymised.

The connection to this website is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).

If you contact us through the form on this website, we process the name, email address and message you enter. The form also transmits the time you took to fill it in and a hidden field. Both are used only for spam protection and are not stored.

The message is sent by the web server as an email to contact@pucholab.com. The same applies if you write to us directly by email. We use your details only to answer your message and for any follow up questions.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your message concerns a contract or steps before entering into one, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in answering inquiries. We delete messages once your request has been dealt with and no further exchange is expected, unless statutory retention duties require us to keep them.

Recipients: the mailbox contact@pucholab.com is provided by our hosting provider, and its messages are forwarded to a mail account with Google (Gmail), which we use to read and answer them. Google may process data in the USA. Such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision under Art. 45 GDPR) or on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46 GDPR).

Ordinary email is not end to end encrypted, so please do not send confidential information through the form or by email. Providing your details is voluntary, but without a name and a valid email address we cannot reply.

This website does not set cookies and does not store information on your device or read information from it. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. A cookie banner is therefore not needed.

We have not appointed a data protection officer because we are not legally required to do so.

You have the right to access your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to have it rectified (Art. 16), erased (Art. 17) or restricted (Art. 18), and to receive it in a portable format (Art. 20). Where processing were based on consent, you could withdraw it at any time (Art. 7(3)). At the moment we do not process any data based on consent. We do not use automated decision making or profiling.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR): if we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you can object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then stop the processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
